HAVOC PARTNERS INCREASES EQUITY INTEREST IN PEL 90 OFFSHORE NAMIBIA ADJACENT TO GRAFF-1 DISCOVERY

Havoc Partners LLP advises that its wholly owned subsidiary Harmattan Energy Limited has increased its equity ownership in PEL 90 (Block 2813B) in the Orange Basin offshore Namibia to 37.06%. The other partners in PEL 90 are Trago Energy (Pty) Ltd with 52.94% and the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR) with 10%. Harmattan has assumed the role of Operator.

HARMATTAN ENERGY LTD HAS BEEN AWARDED A 14% INTEREST IN BLOCK 2813B, OFFSHORE NAMIBIA

Harmattan Energy Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Havoc Partners LLP, has acquired an interest in offshore Block 2813B, which covers an area of 5,433 sqkm in the Orange River Basin of Namibia. The award was made following a joint application by Calima Energy (Operator 56%), Trago Energy (20%), Harmattan Energy (14%) and NAMCOR (10%). The agreement has an initial investment term of four years. During the first year of the initial term the joint venture partners will undertake an evaluation of the existing data in, an around, the block. Over the four years of the initial term, Calima has committed to acquire 2D or 3D seismic data and undertake a detailed prospectivity review.
